People are Sleeping on Harris & this Fight!!!

Harris is better then alot of you guys think and this fight will be better then alot of you think. Guys, sometimes the best fighter doesnt win. Now, I still havent seen the Harris vs Mouse fight but from the way you guys talk about it, you can tell that Harris is still the better fighter. Its like Zab vs Baldomire. If they had a immediate rematch right now and someone said you had to put your life on the fight, then everyone on here would pick Zab.

We can say what we want about Floyd and Hattons opponents because they just loss but the fact is those 2 opponents are some of the best fighters in the world and this fight will be all they have left. They will come out like caged animals and both Floyd and Hatton can lose this fight wether you want to believe it or not. If Zab and Harris bring there A game (which you know they will because this fight is all they have left) then they have the skills to give anyone in there division hell.

Now lets get back to Harris. This is a guy who was the Champ, no one would fight him, he talked **** about everyone, and then loss to a lesser fighter. He looked like a fool and everyone clowned him and wrote him off. Now just think about if you are Harris. All that happened and all of assuden out the blue you get a call to fight Hatton in his 1st fight in the US. You have just been humbled and down as low as you can go, and now he knows that in one swoop he can get it all back. Im telling you guys that Hatton will see a fighter who will prepare like crazy, almost fight the perfect fight, and is good as he has been, he will be even better. This kid is not just going to let this oppurtunity slip away.

This is a very dangerous fight for Hatton and I guarantee all of you that win or lose, he will give Hatton trouble and I think this is the perfect fight for Hattons US debut because of the style. I think we could really see a more talented version of Gatti vs Ward. I think it could be just like Naz 1st fight in the US against Kelley.

The bottom line is you guys are sleeping on Harris and this fight. This dude has his whole life in this fight and has been given a immediate 2nd chance that very few fighters get. He will take advantage of it and will be much smarter and more prepared this time around. Now will that be enough? Maybe not but it will be enough to make this a great fight and I wouldnt be surprised at all to see him KO Hatton

    Good Post.

I agree that these two fights are the ones they should both go for right now, although I would be very surprised if Hatton or Floyd lose. Floyd will KO Judah in the middle rounds, and Hatton will TKO Harris in 10.

I can't see Harris hurting Hatton that much and I can see Hatton hurting harris when he lands. Plus I think psychologically and tactically Hatton is in a different league to Harris.

Im not sleeping on Harris,I have always thought he was overrated, but I agree that people greatly underestimated his ability after that loss. But he's looked lackluster against fighters like Oktay Urkal.Harris dosent have the poise to keep his mind in the game when **** gets hot.He has some skill, good power too probably, but I think Hatton takes him out of his game plan easily. The only way I could really see Harris winning is if he cuts hatton up.I dont see what Harris has that will make him the victor over hatton,he has the skill to hang with hatton until the later rounds, but he wont be winning on the cards by the time Hatton stops him.

I think Harris can put up a fight in the early rounds, and I am curious as to how their styles clash, but I would be ****ing flabbergasted if Harris wins.

I agree but Im just not ready to put Hatton in the elite class yet. If he wins this fight then I will but Im still not sold on him enough to be saying this is a easy win for him. I thought Harris was overrated also but he does have long arms with big power and he could hurt Hatton if he catches him right and this guy is confident

Hatton would carve Harris up. This is a guy (Harris) who shot his wad trying to get Maussa out of there early and paid for it in the end. He's not going to get much better with Hatton, difference being his opponent is actually going to be fighting back with a lot of pressure applied.

I thought HArris was a fairly dangerous guy at 140 pre-Maussa...but I have my reservations on him now. I got the Wlad/Brewster effect after that bout...can't see HArris beating a tough, determined guy like HAtton.

well you just said yourself that he shot his wad, so by that you probally mean that if he didnt fight that dumb way then he probally wouldve easily beat Maussa.

Now you have a guy, who is probally more humbled, knows he can be beat if he does something dumb, and will fight much smarter this time. Hes not going out to trying to impress anyone this fight with a early KO. He just wants to win this one

When Harris actually fought to his potential (and not like a lazier Tarver) he looked GREAT! But Hatton causes way to much pressure for most fighters so Harris will lose this.

I would love to see Harris get back in the mix in this division. His bad performance against Maussa can easily be forgotten if he can pull this one out. This is bigger. If he lose this one Harris is gone, so don't count him out yet. Let see and find out.
