Chavez Injured, Barrera Fight Off

The battle for the IBF lightweight title between champion Jesus Chavez and Marco Antonio Barrera is off. Chavez's manager Lou Mesorano informed BoxingScene that Chavez tore a muscle in his left bicep, and that the injury would likely keep Chavez out of action for several months. The bout was scheduled for March 25, no word if the fight will be rescheduled down the road. [details]

Man this sucks big time. This was gonna be a great fight and Barrera's shot at a forth world title. Oh well 2006 still has alot of good matchups on the horizon.

Well Pac is set ot fight Larios than Morales, and Barrera's fight with Chavez is still on its just postponed. It will probably be awhile before we see Pac-Barrera 2 unfortuneatley.

mab wanted pacman in march but it was to soon for pacman. cahvez would of been just as tough as pacman. pacman signed 2 fights not MAB fault

we should read something like "Larios injured, Pacquiao fight off" in a couple of days and in the next week we'll something like this: "Pacquiao-Barrera 2 set for June!"... Lol... IMO, manny should take on barrera now... But what the hell, dispose of larios first... Some critics might say Pacman is ducking Larios so bring them all...

pacman fighting larios first is good a good tune up for MAB, not for morales pacman shouldnt waste his time with washes up fighters. MAB is his biggest fight that one or JMM
