  • Roach says he wants Chino next for Pac

He basically wants to show Floyd how to look dominant against Chino, and then get the Floyd fight. He says Floyd didn't fight like that for the fans, and thinks its signs he's declining. He also says Pac kill KO Floyd if they ever fight.

Floyd did not want to get hit like that, but he won after the surprise shock.

Wow, I totally expected Freddie to say that his guy is gonna get knocked out by Floyd. He said the opposite though, meaning his guy is gonna win. Crazy!

If Pac does fight Maidana its a shame Floyd don't soften the opponents up for Pac, like Pac does for Floyd. Maidana is hardly shop worn fighting Floyd.

If Floyd did things for his fans, he might have let Maidana wear his own gloves, or may have fought Sergio by now instead of Cotto having to.

Is Maidana's deal with Golden Boy up? That would make sense to me if he only got $1.5 million because he didn't sign an extension. On All Access, they said they wanted Pacquiao after Mayweather. I'd certainly pay to see Pacquiao vs. Maidana in November. I don't know about in China, but if they fight early in the morning like the did with the Rios fight, I'm cool with it.

No, Maidana's deal with Golden Boy is not done. On top of that, Maidana signed with Al Haymon.

Roach's interest is not surprising either. He's all about trying to fight an opponent Floyd previously beat, but trying to be more dominate in their fight. It also helps to drum up more interest in Pacquaio vs. Mayweather (which has lost steam). Top Rank recently tried to persuade Robert Guerrero with a Pacquaio bout, and he ended up filing a lawsuit against Golden Boy to try and break out of his contract. But unfortunately for Guerrero, the contract was ironclad.

i can see why he'd rather have maidana than marquez next. Styles make fights and where marquez is tough for pac but easy for floyd, maidana is easy for pac but tough for floyd.
