Yep provodnikov snatched his soul along with the title. The top rank commentary was correct, he was looking to his corner for a way to quit after getting knocked down by Marquez, had no interest in pressing the fight.

Doesn't deserve another payday but well done to him he's made some good money and given us good value in his career, needs to hang them up now.

Mehh Alvarado and I hate to use this word, but he sucks. If he was with GBP then he wouldn't have even won an Interim title that he did. He struggled with Prescott (yes yes he KOed Khan). His biggest claim to fame is beating an another one like himself Punching "Bag Bag" Rios.

I wish him all the best especially the fact he took severe beatings, so I sincerely hope he is okay and has no long term health effects on him due to boxing and he can transition outside of boxing in to something lucrative and less hurtful.

Yeah, I've always thought Alvarado had some Cintron in him, both got that wrestling background - can punch/box some but are stiff and have mental weaknesses, although it's clear Alvarado has the bigger heart.
