Attribute that to whatever you want but Marquez is just as capable of beating Maidana as he's ever been.
I think he can as well, which is why I htink this is such a great fight for discussion ,because Maidana can also stop him at a moments notice, and has the defense and ring generalship to make it very interesting.

Chino with his Everlast MX gloves is capable of beating any welterweight. I say he knocks Marquez out cold. If Alvarado was able to catch and hurt Marquez, Maidana is more than capable of dropping him and then finish him off.

Marquez surprises everyone by having an easier time with him than Floyd did

Maidana is certainly better than Alvarado especially at 147. I'd favor Chino to win this one. Boy this would be an incredible fight though.

Marquez is certainly capable of taking him to school on his best night, but I don't know if you didn't watch the fight or are baiting, but the last thing Floyd had that night, was an easy time.

Any guy coming forward will get hit with combinations all night from Marquez. With this new found strength he could hurt and drop Maidana. Marquez does go down quite often but never seems to be really ready to go. I'd take Marquez by UD or ref stoppage. Maidana is not half the fighter Marquez is, roided up or not.

Great fight, I'd lean slightly towards Maidana

i think this quicker and harder hitting version of marquez easily beats maidana by UD.

i can see maidana having some success, but ultimately marquez will just be too fast and too strong for someone as slow as maidana.

it will definitely be a very exciting fight.
