Thurman isn't fighting Porter. It's Brook.

Why do people keep mentioning this fight when Porter has that mandatory.

I used to want Porter-Thurman but fighting each other eliminates one from the Floyd fight. And those two present a dangerous fight to Floyd, especially if he keeps declining.

Khan shouldn't even be in the mix.

I voted for Porter but Thurman could win it. It won't be old glass jaw against punchers like these two. You need to take a look at Ring magazine ratings. Khan is ranked 9 th at welterweight and both Thurman and Porter are ranked well above Khan. It makes no sense at all for two higher ranked guys to fight each other for the right to fight the LOWER ranked Khan. Khan should fight Thurman and the winner would then fight champion Porter. You Khan fans always elevate him to a position he has not yet earned. Get it through your head that Khan is only ranked 9th at 147 and needs to prove himself more at the weight and not against unranked fighters like Collazo.

Khan doesn't have to wait until May, that's just more of his BS. He has had fights in all months of the year before. He can fight in JUNE, JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER OR OCTOBER just as he has often done before.

at this point, i agree. khan needs to beat at least one of those two (porter or thurman) to be given a shot at the Money.

Porter would have an easier time with Khan than Thurman would, in my view.

Still, Khan's going to avoid any such high-risk low-reward fighters until he gets Mayweather.

LOL at people thinking Khan needs to "earn" Mayweather. Floyd runs his shít like a business. Khan was already frontrunner to face Floyd until Maidana happened. Now he's right back at #1 or #2 depending on the Maidana rematch idea.
