If you mean gatekeeper as an opponent you have to (should) defeat to get a shot at the title I'd go for the following

Charr, Chisora and Thompson at HW

    Bute at LHW

Bika holds a belt , but i think he can be considered a gatekeeper at SMW.

MW: Andy Lee and Sergio Mora

    JMW: Martirosyan, Kirkland, Angulo.

WW: Berto, probably Guerrero and Alexander.

It used to be berto. He's pretty much shot now. If adrien takes another good beating/loss then he will be one. Rosado is another but he keeps getting blasted. I would say Alexander is one as well and rios.

Floyd Mayweather Junior is a gatekeeper. He currently holds the sport of boxing by the balls and refuses to allow entertaining battles to happen.
When he retires the sport will be 10x better off without him.
The man has the entire boxing industry by the balls because of his money and because of his idiot casual fans.
The sooner this fraud is out of boxing the sooner we can get back to real boxing.

You could probably just call those two journeymen who fight everyone rather than gatekeepers.
Same could be said about guys like Sammy Sparkman and Marcus Rhode, and Emmanuel Augustus.

I think gatekeeper is a certain level before you hit the top. The guys somewhere near it but not really at the top of a given division.

You're just being silly. Mayweather was never a gatekeeper of anything.

Maybe you don't like the way he handles his business or who he fights (I don't either a lot of the time) but he's never been anything but at the top.
