Alvarado could have a chance but it is so hard to pick him because he is just so average, he will probably have his moments but I don't think that is going to be enough for him as JMM is going to be able to land on him when he wants, if JMM can land on a guy like that they will have problems.

Marquez is going to light Alvarado up, target practice. I say this as a fan of both men. Marquez UD.

Alvarado pulls this off, people keep acting like Marquez has that Provodnikov ideals of reckless abandonment. Add in the size factor here and the fact Mike is a better boxer than he is a brawler and I see Marquez calling it a day after tonight..but hey it's boxing anything can happen. As long as Alvarado doesn't injure his eye again he should be good in my opinion.

this fight could go either way. Marquez is better but better can run up against size. Diaz and Katsidis made war with JMM. Alvarado will too and he's a lot to handle.

And you also have to factor his age. Too old to be going to war IMO.

Just like you, I have Mike by stoppage. I get the impression the old man's legs are going. And his reflexes are definitely slow. Even tho Mike doesn't have the fastest hands.
