Chavez and principal dont go together, is the guy who took Sergios belt and ran around for 3 years avoiding him and also testing 2X for drugs. Chavez is scared plain and simple
It is his career to do with as he pleases and he thinks his way is better no matter what Arum offered.

It could cost him big time no doubt which is why in my first post in this thread I called it a risky move.

Yea Chavez and principal don't go together because that is not the correct word, he doesn't work at a ****ing school. He stuck to his guns in the face of criticism for what he believed to be the right more, even with a very persuasive offer and a ton of pressure on him. This thread was only about this matter and no he is not always principled he just was in this instance

He's the moral winner i guess, i call it ducking
I dont think he will get shelfed at all tbh. Arum is close with the family and if the kid wants to leave the company thats his choice. I dont see why he cant?

You call it ducking because your biased against him despite him never ducking anyone. Call a guy like Floyd a ducker for the pac mess. Not a guy like Chavez who has gotten in their with guys.

Its not even a moral victory and may not even be a reward. Its just his business sense. Arum thought it was regular business. Chavez shocked him. Your not impressed by that?

A fight not coming off doesn't mean near as much as you are putting on it, just a fight that didn't come off and Chavez has other ideas about his career than being tied to Top Rank.

Why are you so emotional over this topic, I am sorry my beliefs are different from yours but you ranting and raving is not making me take you seriously.
What better ideas does he have, lets hear them, ill wait. He's with Arum for 1.5 years and could either fight good fighters for 17 mil or sit and do nothing during that time.

Ur the emotional one, defending the ducking and of a top fighter and an outrageous offer in his favor. Of course rumors of Haymon are around chavez now so you're in full chavez protection mode

At golden boy he will get paid WAAAY more fighting the real fighters. All the fights combined between 140 and 154 will equate to WAAAY more money than one Pac fight, and a bunch of MEANINGLES record-padders with Rios and Alvarado. Bradley will never be an ATG ww. Look at who he will be fighting.
really?..Its like saying south korea did something and you know because north korea told you...While I dont really know the terms..I think if he was offered upwards of 6 mil for ggg and some other guarantees he would be set..Lets say he loses a close fight against ggg ,then fights a lesser fighter and rematches ggg..no more fighting..Now if he gets offered 5mill for ggg and no extension and loses, who be next? ward?nobody would care..One more thing, you calling a person who hasnt taken the sport seriously, has failed drug tests and failed weight a genius..?

Bradley won. Thurman, Porter, Guerrero (you happy now), Maidana (you happy now(, Garcia (you happy now), Khan (you happy now), Alexander, Matthysse (you happy now), Broner (you happy now) and whoever else on GBP's roster has not made $18 million over the past 2 years. Add all of their purses up over the past 2 years and what the total? Is it $18 million? Probably not.

You lost. You hate everything Arum and Top Rank but didn't realize the kind of money Bradley is making over there. They are taking WAY better care of him over there than GBP is doing with some of his biggest stars who actually fill seats.

"But but, he's ducking the toughest fights". Who gives a ****? You wouldn't buy a ticket to see it anyways.
Money, money, money, blah, blah, blah. YOUR 100% wrong. You keep talking about what Golden Boy's fighters make when time and time again, I have made it very clear that BRADLEY being the 3rd most important fighter at golden boy would make more than all of them IF he were AT Golden boy.

I keep saying the same things its like you dont want to hear it huh? I will repeat it again but dont know how much longer I can. He will fight the bums at TR 4 times a piece.

Now imagine if he fights Golen boy's stable 4 times a piece, each opponent. I keep saying this over and over again and you ignore it.

And idiot I dont hate Arum and Top Rank. YOUR azz and some of the others here are biased and hate on this person and that person. I dont do that mess. This is easy to discuss. Top Rank has NO FIGHTERS IDIOT. Golden boy DOES.

EASY WORK dealing with you. Top Rank is a waste of time for Bradley. Its so easy to prove that to you. You do little slick stuff to get around it, but not on my watch. I suggest we stop talking about it. The cheap tricks wont work on me man. I already told you Im Chavezin ya lol

Yet he wont do any better. Turning down a great offer and top fighter to do nothing. What exactly is so commendable about that? If he was about principle, why didnt he take the fight with the offer that was given?

You commending him for doing what he wants, event tho what he's doing is ducking and dodging, something his name is synonymous for.

He got a lawyer and all they want to do is talk extensions. He doesnt want to be attached anymore. I dont know how many times I have to say it. I never said anything about being enslaved all I said was he doesnt want to do the extension game. No extension that is all.

He can do what ever he wants, as can any fighter, nobody can be forced.

I am shocked, by chavez ducking such an amazing deal. You're just happy that he said no to Arum. If there was something unfair about the deal, like with Mikey, i'd agree, but he turned down 17 mil for 1 fight

It is his career, I don't know his plans but him taking control of his career is not a bad thing. I already acknowledged that in my original post that this move may be very costly to JCC Jr., so I never said it was the correct move just that JCC Jr. believes it is the correct move and he went with his belief instead of being strong armed.

How am I emotional? Please point that out as you are the one caught up about a fight that didn't happen, it would have been a quality fight but I have already moved beyond that.

Then he should have taken the non extension deal that was offered.
