Mayorga had a short prime and he was never nearly as good after the Trinidad beating. In his prime he was too much for Forrest and he would probably have been too much for Maidana as much as I hate to say it. Mayorga had an iron jaw and a damn hard punch in either hand but especially his straight right. A Maidana type brawl would suit him fine. I really like Maidana and Mayorga was an still is an A HOLE. Mayorga was a really big powerful welterweight and he could take Maidana's punches but Maidana couldn't take his punches. Mayorga would probably win by KO.

So you're in the red and obviously a complete idiot. Mayorga was on some 3rd rate boxing show on a Spanish channel and was beaten by some guy with a losing record.

Mayorga is finished, shouldn't be talked about in boxing and we shouldn't waste our time on him.

I don't know who gets talked about more after the fact, Mayorga or Prince Nazeem. Get over both of them.
