Comments Thread For: David Haye: Froch Now Knows Groves is World Class

Former two-division world champion David Haye is 100% sure that IBF/WBA 'regular' super middleweight champion Carl Froch has a lot more respect for his domestic rival George Groves. The rematch takes place at Wembley on May 31. Last November, Froch predicted a violent, and easy, knockout victory. Instead Froch was dropped hard in the first round and battered during the contest, before securing a controversial ninth round stoppage.

On the other hand, it could be a disadvantage for Groves that Froch is that notch more prepared mentally.

David is right. It's going to be very interesting to see how this fight plays out. On the one hand George has that new found confidence of being able to mix with world class fighters and the other hand Carl knows he's in a serious fight with a guy who has the power to drop him. I still think it's a 50/50.

While Haye is very on point about it, it will still be a very 50/50 type of fight...

It is a very interesting fight. Will Froch have more sense about himself now that Groves brought him back to earth? Will Groves be too confident seeing that he did incredibly well last time? Or will they both be as revved up as each other baring in mind how the last one went? Will it be exactly the same as last time?

Great fight and I am glad it is happening. I watched the first one earlier today and had it 78-73 Groves after 8, but I expect Froch to make it closer this time.

Wearing a bit thin now, especially in a thread unrelated to Haye's career.
