If anyone is going to get dragged into deep waters it is going to be GRJ in this fight. People say they worry about Loma's stamina yet forget he almost stopped Salido in round 12. Arguably, Loma's first and only win is a better win than anyone on Russell's resume...

Loma has fought 10 and 12 rounds in 2 fights while GRJ has never fought 12, not even been scheduled for 12 and only begun 10 rounders v bums in his 19th fight. He will have some success with his flashy speed in the opening or middle rounds I think but if Loma has an effective strategy this time he will get him down the straight and either stop him late or win on close points.

I'm personally looking forward to this fight more than others. It is a big step up for Russell and a do or die moment for Lomo.
I think if the fight does occur, even with skepticism 3 weeks till the fight.... I think Russell has this fight and will when with ease.
Though I give all credit in the world to the two time Olympian, Lomo struggled against an old man and in my eyes looked very confessed in most of the fight. I personally don't consider hip shots, low blows. I think Russell has a good chance to win by KO as well, while Lomo will struggle to survive.

The hype behind Lomo is ridiculous because the ones supporting Lomo the opposite of Rigo.

Russell is being overlooked because of his choice to take time instead of rushing to a title. The ones hyping Lomo will be quick to backfire when Russells hands are released! !!

In one fight, Russell threw like 80 punches a round. Against Salido, Lomachenko threw like 37 punches a round. That could be an issue for Lomachenko. If he wants to be a successful pro, he's gotta up the workrate.

Russell hasn't really faced anyone elite, and neither has Loma so I guess based on that it's pretty even, Loma did beat a decent fighter in Ramirez however, who I rate above anyone of Russells wins.

1 win against a ranked fighter and a lose to a past prime, does not constitute a better resume with a man with 25+ pro fights.

No disrespect toward the man's earlier accomplishments but Russell has more pro experience no matter the level of competition. 25+ always will look greater than 2....

Can't wait for this fight... both guys are super fast, should be good... how often do you see a really fast technical white fighter vs a really fast technical black guy?
