Alvarado's face is going to look like he had a fight with knives instead of gloves. JMM is going to carve his ass up real nice. JMM is greatness while Alvarado is a C level fighter at best even at JMM's age he will win this fight.

Let's not forget JMM has had trouble with Juan Diaz... Juan Diaz couldn't beat Ruslan, Rios,or Alvarado in my opinion. This is a tough fight.

Marquez also had trouble with a D level fighter like Katsidis. Got put down with a big knockdown , that was not a flash knockdown either.

JMM is one of my favorite boxers, complete warrior and legend of the ring.............BUT, I think he loses this fight. He has the skills and everything but Alvarado just moves around the ring too much for him at this stage of his career. He is a taller guy with a longer reach who can counter punch pretty good and who can also fight well on the inside. I feel that JMM will have his moments but he will have to sacrifice himself to get into punching range and he will take damage.

I think JMM gets dropped once and bloodied up as the fight progresses. He will land on Alvarado but I think he loses a SD (should be a UD loss but they help the legend save face) and talks about retirement during the post-fight interview.

So what makes peolple think that Alvarado has the tools to do this?

Rios and Alvarado was a great fight because they are both c level fighters and that is what you get when 2 same level fighters fight, Gatti vs Ward were nothing else than c fighter and they brought us a hell of a series. Lets dont get confused, Alvarado will lose!!!
