Mosley-Margarito-Why was Mosley able to destroy him so easily?

Margarito at that time had just beaten Cotto and was labeled the WW monster an indestructible force, Yet Mosley ran through him like a hot knife threw butter.Mosley was laughed at when he said he was going to ko Margarito

    Body punching, clinching and speed.

Margarito also wasn't in the best physical or mental shape. But Mosley did everything right to deal with his style.

I think the Cotto fight took a lot out of him, even though he won.

Mosley had a great game plan too, punch then smother.

Uh this might be a long shot; Mosley eats come forward fighters?

Didn't he box a lot against Mexicans or in Mexico?

alot of people thought he was going to run through mosley, and a lot of us were wrong. in retrospect, he was all wrong for margs. it was a combo of toughness speed and power, that margs had no answer for. got to think the previous fight put a little wear into margs too.

It really comes down to clinching, he totally defused Margarito by getting off first mostly with big right hands then not allowing Margarito to fire back by tying up.

Cotto he let Margarito get his, a tough fight where you are getting yours is a lot different then a fight where you are getting hammered but not able to do much about it.

I remember specifically during the Marg/Cotto fight, Steward saying, Cotto has the right game plan, but he's not a natural mover/slickster, and won't be able to keep that up, because that's not his style.

Then in the Mosley fight, Steward brought up why Mosley was all wrong for him. It's simply the fact that Sugar is Sugar AKA beast, but also can naturally move, and be slick when he needs to be.
