Comments Thread For: Dulorme Targets Jessie Vargas or Lamont Peterson Next

On March 29th, once beaten Thomas Dulorme defeated Karim Mayfield in an HBO televised fight that is easily the biggest win of his pro career. In a recent conversation with BoxingScene.com, Dulorme said that he was pleased with that victory but that he is now focused on the future and not looking back at the past.

"I think it was a big win in a big fight but it is over now and we are on to the next fight. I am working hard and hoping to get my next fight lined up soon," Dulorme explained.

So Jesse Vargas it is, should be a solid target for Dulorme and a winnable fight.

Probably a very lackluster fight though.

Can't wait to see Vargas back in action. Jesse beats Peterson and Dulorme, handily.

He beat Khabib for the title, he's good. Jessie Vargas is only 24 years old. He's going to be the King at 140 by this time next year, he'll be King of the 147 pound division by the time he's 27 years old. Mark my words.

Nice to see Dulorme got more balls then most at 140. He's willing to call out the Russian and take that fight..Other fighters at 140 are straight up ducking him.

Should just feed Dulorme to Prov - he has asked for it before.

Dulorme isn't going to be able to win his next fight if he uses the same tactics he did in his last fight.

I understand Mayfield initiates a lot of that ugly action, but I saw Dulorme doing it as well..and doing it as to avoid fighting. I'm not mad at him for it, not upset the fight was boring or anything..I know he desperately needed to secure a win to sustain his career, but in between all that..it just didn't look like he really wants it anyone..

anyway, I don't think the judges will go for it...Vargas by decision

I would love to see Dulorme get the props he deserves and beat them two. Seems once he lost, most of the Ricans on here forgot about him.
