well if that fight is off

if only this is a perfect world, MAB don't have to fight in March, Pac IMHO can fight one month earlier ...

    April - PAC-MAB 2

              And the reason is?

Well, it's high time MAB faces his fears and fights PAC. If by the end of the year or at least early next year he still doesn't face PAC, then we can all agree that he's nothing but a *****.

Well, this is an interesting turn of events.

This might mean that Barrera may have to shed some weight to come down and fight Pacquiao in May or June. That would mean huge dollars for both! The two men who defeated Morales SHOULD fight each other!

Barrera HAS to fight Pac this year. IMO he has more to lose by not fighting pac than he does by fighting him. If he fights and loses people will say he was a warrior and had bags of heart even if he just fell short against Pac. If he doesnt fight him it will be a huge cloud hanging over his legacy. If Barrera retires without rematching Pac, people won't see his wins over Nas, Morales, Ayala etc etc, they'll only see the loss to Pac and then his refusal to fight a rematch.

Nicely said! I think this post nailed it right on the head. I believe that MAB wants to exit the boxing scene on a high note and $$$ to retire on. But if he doesn't rematch Pac especially that his camp has been saying he his lost was due to distractions around the time, people will think that those had nothing to do with his loss, that Pac clearly beat him and is the better fighter between the two.
