Carl Froch's promoter has objected to the appointment of Jack Reiss as referee for the George Groves rematch and officials must find a replacement.

Groves called for a foreign referee to oversee the second fight, live on Sky Sports Box Office, after Englishman Howard Foster controversially signalled a stoppage win for Froch in their first meeting in November.

Reiss, a highly experienced American, was originally chosen as the man in the middle for their Wembley clash on May 31st.

How would Jack Reiss DQ'ing Froch and/or Groves benefit Ward? The fight is between Froch and Groves. Ward would be no different than you or I, A spectator.

Jack riess is a goof ref. If anything he stopped the arreola fight at the right time. Dont know what they r playin at he handled the andre ward fight well too he made it a boxing match rather than a wrestling match

No way, I like Arreola, but he was clearly in Arreola's corner. That was a long count and he was giving him extra chances/time. Even Atlas was commenting on it saying "too long its taking too long!!"

Ward didn't f**k up Froch. Ward did what he always does, run, jab, clinch and spoil his way to a decision win.
Froch actually finished the fight stronger than Ward and wasn't ****ed up in any way, shape or form.
