How many welters in today's crop could've made the winning adjustment Floyd did and survive those specific shots from that specific fight? Canelo? Maidana? Broner? Zab? Manny? Marquez? Bradley? Khan?

Anyone think a few of these guys would've kissed the canvas from those shots?

I must have missed Mayweather vs Mosley II or something ... Because I don't recall a near KO (whateverthefuckthatis) occurring in the first fight.

It amazes me how much is made of a guy taking 1 flush shot and coming back to dominate how many fights have we seen where guys are tattooed and dropped repeatedly and comeback to win.

Let me reiterate he got hit with ONE clean flush shot and started hugging Shane like he was his GF its no credit to Floyd how he couldn't take a punch very well.

Oh, the near KO that buckled his legs and didn't even knock him down? Yeah, he was almost dead to rights.

No he didnt. At the end of that round he used a cross guard across the chest. Then in the 3rd round, he was back holding that left hand low. His trainers told him to also start boxing, and he didnt even do that. He kept the same gameplan to be flatfooted. He got caught because he wasnt paying attention.

The main adjustment he made was focusing and going into that zone.

Nah he got hurt VERY bad. It wasnt a near knockdown he was HURT.

And how many fighters got hurt that bad, then walked their man down without getting graze for the rest of the fight? Will never happen again to any fighter in any fight.

really, dude? zabs heart gets so underrated around here, he got caught with two pretty good right hands once in the second round. fight was stopped but nobody can say he didnt do his all to get up and continue. the idea that he wouldnt "have the stones" to take one or two big shots is absurd. taking a long beating has broken his heart in teh past but never a single shot, zab is much tougher than that and he has proved it countless times.

khan would have been knocked out, he qould try to get up provided he knew were he was but i seriously doubt it. even if he did try it would be unsuccessful. the idea that he could take those kind of shots from mosley at 147 is laughable. in fact plenty of them may have been knocked out from those shots or finished afterwards due to not having the smarts to cope.

JMM, bradley and pacquiao would make it out of the round for sure. they would find a way. teh rest im not so sure about.
