I backed Trout in this fight but I remember it being a pretty clear cut victory for Alvarez. Maybe open scoring effected my scoring somehow. I was backing Trout but I remember I had Alvarez winning clearly but sometimes I score fights on how I think the judges would score it. Now I have to rewatch it lol.
What was your Canelo-Trout score card?

7-5 Canelo with one extra point for the KD. Canelo 115-112.WITH the knock-down I had him comfortably up by 3 points (2 rounds.)
The facts about the fight: Trout was wild as all holy hell, this his aggression wasn't always effective he only
He only Outlanded Canelo by 40 punches (most of them not power punches, just "jabs.")
He threw 400 MORE punches than Canelo and only landed a quarter of his total punches.
He was honesty getting tagged at will by Canelo's hard shots (hence him being out on his ass.)
Canelo landed something like 45% of his punches (most of them power punches.)
Trout: was trying to steal the fight by pulling a Maidana and just swinging at everything and anything, thus getting caught with the cleaner shots and losing a round outright by getting dropped. He expected his work rate to pull out the victory.
Imo, anyone crying robbery is most likely a Canelo hater, lord knows this board is infested with those.
I can see at the very least crying for a draw and that's being VERY generous to Trout.
Imo it was a clear win for Canelo, can't see how the robbery army always does into force here.Comment

Only scored the first 8 rounds. The outcome was already determined at that point, and it was impossible to truly gauge the last 4 rounds, as both fighters changed their game plans - trout became more aggressive and canelo was in cruise control.
I think I had canelo up 5-3 or 4-4+ kd.Comment
