Former two division world champion Gerry Penalosa is confident that there is no fighter at present who could beat WBO light flyweight champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes who scored a spectacular 9th round TKO over Interim champion and mandatory challenger Moises Fuentes of Mexico at the Mall of Asia Arena last Saturday.
A good crowd was treated to a classic display by Nietes whose combinations, footwork and devastating overhand right took the sting out of the challenger who had confidently predicted he would win by a knockout after Nietes retained his title by a majority draw at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu on March 3 last year.
