Or like the time he was right about to fight Morales. And other assorted internet foolery.

Khan is targeting Porter or Alexander in November, if Mayweather is willing to move the date he can make that fight happen.

He's not moving the date. It'll be September. And it'll probably be Maidana unless Cotto becomes a middleweight champ and is also available.

So a Cotto rematch would be better than a Maidana rematch?

Oh ok. That's what it sounded like to me. My bad.

Not sure we can take anything said right after the fight as gospel. They'll look at everything and make a decision. But if Cotto wins Floyd will immediately make a fight with him for the "middleweight championship"

There will be a rematch, I'm guessing. As someone else said, who else is Floyd going to fight? Khan won't fight in Sept. He could fight a LWW, like Danny Garcia, or Matts, but Garcia's shine has been really taken off since losing to Herrera, and getting the nod anyway.

And, Floyd isn't going to fight GGG, or a relative unknown like Shawn Porter. The fight was close enough that people will tune in again.

But, I think Maidana will have to use the same gloves again. Floyds still in the drivers seat.

                      Good.

Maidana didn't win more than 4 rounds in that fight.

It was enjoyable and competitive especially in the early stages.

Floyd knows what to expect now, he'll win easier if they have another.

                      Move on.
