All nine of junior-welterweight prospect Mike “Yes Indeed” Reed’s pro fights have come in front of a hometown crowd. He’ll be traveling away from Maryland and Washington, D.C., for his 10th, fighting June 14 in Atlantic City on a Top Rank card that will also feature Glen Tapia, Jesse Hart and Toka Kahn-Clary in separate matches.
Reed is scheduled to face Alberto Morales in a six-round bout at Bally’s Atlantic City, according to Lorin Chvotkin, a spokesman for Reed. Though it is a Top Rank show, Reed remains a free agent, Chvotkin said.
