How sad is that ****
I can imagine them both in the middle of the ring, clocking each other clean in the face the saying "can't hit me"Comment

Thurman is shit. He's not the shit, no no, he is shit.
You'll see when he faces a true WW rather than some laddersteps.Comment

Well....those guys didn't want to fight him so.... we will know very soon if this kid is the real deal. I think he is but who knows. Can't wait for the first time he struggles even a little bit, he'll get blasted on here lol.Comment

I don't know why is it so hard for people to accept that there are some boxers who are ducking Thurman. Maidana pulled out of the match with him back in 2012 for a more safer opponent (Jesus Soto Karass) and hasn't even mentioned wanting to fight Thurman since. He's ducking and should be called out on this more often. Fans are quick to bring this up for every other boxer so Maidana shouldn't get a pass for doing it himself.
Meanwhile, Thurman is calling out all of the big names, so don't ever say he's ducking anybody, as he's not afraid to let go of his 0.Last edited by Mr. Punch-Out!!; 07-01-2014, 04:44 PM.Comment

Imo, Thurman KO's both Matthysse and Provodnikov. He is all kinds of wrong for them. They are 140 fighters that get hit a lot and Thurman is possibly the biggest 147 pounder out there in both power and size. I'm not completely sold on his hype but a smaller guy who likes to trade is tailor made for ThurmanComment

Actually you are mistaken. The time frames are no where near to one another. And yes Maidana and the Ghost blatantly ducked him.I don't think Thurman is ducking anybody and I don't think anybody is ducking thurman.
Maidana got a better offer, making a sweet couple mill facing Mayweather, Porter is fighting the mandatory Brook.
Thurman himself is still in the learning stages and is probably a couple fights away from a title shot but I wish he was promoted a bit more, his style and power could make him a champ.Comment
