How can you not? When the two best fighters in a division fight, the winner deserves credit. Add in that a lot of people thought Alvarez would duck Lara and that Lara will probably be the favorite here, and it will be childish if he doesn't receive his rightful credit.

As long as there's no bull**** controversy then sure. But chances of no controversy are pretty slim when Canelo or even Chavez Jr are involved.

Not a Lara fan really but he is clearly the best possible opponent for Canelo to fight. I give him props for that.
