I put him in the top 10 because he was the best middleweight in the world until he was 40 and even older to me because I thought he beat Taylor in both fights. I seriously doubt anybody has a list of the all time great fighters listed from 1 to 20 in order of how good they were. Do you have such a list? I know I don't have a list so when I put Hopkins in the top 10 it's really just a guess.

Around the level of Roy Jones, James Toney, Aaron Pryor, and Shane Mosley.

Top 20-25 imo. If he beats Stevenson, I'd put him def, top 20. If he then goes on to beat Kovalev, top 15-20 ATG.

The guy is continuing to prove that he is capable of so many things that guys 20 years younger can't even do. I can see some people trying to discredit the quality of some of his opposition but these dudes are either title holders are highly ranked guys who are beating most, if not all, of their opponents until BHOP schools them.

He isn't an ATG, he is a good defensive fighter who knows what 3 minutes is better than anyone else. He has experience and uses it to win against green fighters who have no idea how to disrupt pace and make him walk to them.
Bernard is an ATG "salesmen" because he's been fooling novice fans for the past 10 years!

Hopkins is a top 20 guy now. If longevity means anything, he must cash in huge points. His achievements are awesome too - MW king with 20 defenses, LHW champ numerous times.

                Great fighter.

top 20 for sure, possibly even top 15 and he could probably break the top 10 if he beats stevenson and avenges his loss to dawson.

if he did that he would only have one legit loss he didnt avenge against RJJ, their rematch obviously doesnt count considering how shot roy was at the time. plus stevenson meaning another true light heavyweight championship and another very good or possibly even great fighter on his resume.

hard to argue him being outside at least the top 15 if that were to happen.

Top 20 IMO, but if he beats Kovalev and Stevenson then I'd have him top 15.
