No Enzo rematch then. He'd get whooped if that fight happened again.

        lol wut?

He won every round of the first fight and destroyed Enzo's eye. Enzo isn't a name in Germany and he lost handily, so there's no need for a rematch. Maybe Enzo can go back to beating domestic level opponents.

maybe on the official cards but not in reality. he literally did nothing the last 3 rounds because he knew it would be stopped soon. he's a waste of space. he won't fight anyone good and he won't even entertain.

the less time the better. no one is going to come anyway so why waste months and months of time promoting a crappy fight? do it quickly and move on and hope everyone forgets.

This has to be a major dissapointment. I was really looking forward to a Maccarinelli return. I'd have loved to go to beautiful Schwerin to see it. This matchup?

Do your research.Sauerland were boasting after about how successful the Enzo Mac event went, it had nearly 3.5 million viewers on German TV and they sold the tickets. A rematch was definitely a option for Braehmer's next fight as the first fight did the numbers. Boxnation who was showing the fight in the UK was also interested in the rematch.

And how about showing me that those numbers were due to Enzo, or that German TV viewers even know who Enzo is?

As for the 'he only won 5-0 on the official cards', I disagree. I thought Braehmer consistently did enough to pull out the rounds. Simply being competitive while losing rounds and having your eye torn up hardly warrant a rematch.

Enzo was fortunate to get a world title shot anyway given his resume over the last few years-it's as if people thought he suddenly became world class because he beat domestic level fighter McKenzie in a tough fight! As has been the case over the past several years, he lost when stepped up and may suffer permanent consequences due to the injury.
