    Second rate to who?

They just want to pretend that they have an American HW champ.

It's a shame that Stiverne won because it pretty much rules out a unification bout. King won't go anywhere near Wlad.
Everyone already knows that Wlad is the best heavyweight. So why can't Stiverne keep the belt and milk it for a fight or two?

Arthur Abraham and Stieglitz get to draw good crowds and good money in Germany with their version of the 168 pound belt even though Andre Ward is clearly the REAL champion of the division. How come no one forces them to unify with SOG?

Or look at Felix Sturm. How many times has he been allowed to hold a middleweight belt hostage over there while avoiding Golovkin like the plague?

I think it's only fair that Stiverne should get to apply this "European strategy" if he wants to. Plus if handled correctly it will make the build up to a potential unification bigger and more lucrative for everybody involved.

Knocked it out of the park.

        Boxing is a global sport.

Guess what there are places outside of America.

What are some flaws in Wlad's game that prevents him from being the GOAT? I know he doesn't have an inside game.

              Greatness?

What you need to do is watch Wladimir-Povetkin. That fight was a STINKER. Wladimir got Povetkin to the ground 3 times in round 6 (2 pushes); then the entire first minute of round 7 he didn't even throw a punch. Not a single punch. He just wanted to lean on Povetkin. You saw that didn't you?

Leapai: another stinker. If Mayweather fought an opponent of Leapai's calibre he would have been booed out of the MGM Grand. I'm not joking, he literally would have been booed out. Leapai landed 10 punches in 5 rounds: 2 punches a round. Pitiful, wholly unacceptable, gut wrenching, appaling, deplorable, entirely attrocious.

If you guys think Wladimirs last 2 fights are a sign of "greatness" I don't know what to think. Those last 2 fights are why he won't get a fight in the US. Those last 2 fights are why he won't get a shot at the WBC title.

Why would he WANT a fight in the US? He is one of the highest paid athletes in the world (in any sport, period) fighting in Europe and wants to make the dayjob-having UFC undercard chump change US heavyweights are making?

this is unfair. wlad should be given the right to once and for all become undisputed.

he will attain greatness whether you like it or not.

Wladimirs last big win was against David Haye, which was 3 years ago at this stage. Wlad is 38 now, getting on.
Wlad fight the best HW division can offer, it's not his fault the other HW fighter not in his level. and David haye is the last real threat to the klitscko brothers.
