I can't believe people are seriously suggesting they would rather have stiverne avoid wlad because they believe he will fight the top contenders. He fights for don king and has been plagued by inactivity, why would this change now he has a title? He will just be inactive and fight bums to keep the belt in kings organisation as long as possible.

Best case scenario, wlad fights stiverne, winner fights pulev in IBF mando, while this is happening wilder can fight the Jennings-Perez winner and the winner of that fights for all the belts.

Stiverne is a good fighter no doubt, but to have him claim to be a champion in a division with such a dominant fighter as wlad is depressing.
