            he had problems with his eye going way back, all the way to the amateurs i think. he had some incident that caused a detached retina and damage to the muscles of his eye causing his eyelid to droop down and get in the way of his vision.

            something like that.. i know for sure it bothered him basically his entire pro career if not more. in the end its what caused him to retire as well as he risked losing his vision altogether. didnt have much of a career left at that stage but still.
