WBC #1 cruiserweight Rakhim Chakhkiev, fresh off his March stoppage win against Juho Haapoja, will look to extend his recent winning series further on May 30 at Luzhniki Arena in Moscow, Russia. Chakhkiev (18-1, 14 KOs) takes on previously undefeated WBC #9 Ghanaian Braimah Kamoko (26-0, 20 KOs) in the first of his WBC Silver belt. This card is shaping up to be a monster.i was chexking out Kamoko's KO record, his opposition is somewhat lacking but this is a great match up and will be a solid name on Rakhim's resume should he dispatch him which I thoroughly expect him too.
Rakhim will add some already impressive firepower to the overall card.the Wlodarczyk failed title bid last year was easily THE fight of the year and the only reson they were not awarded the gong was because they are Eastern Europeans.
Rakhim has been solidly rebuilding and fighting guys who are by no means pushovers,in a bid to give him the rounds he needs for the next time he contests for a world title, before he goes on to unify the division.Comment
