Not many at all, because the source of making the Top Top money than was fighting the best. These guys were not fighting each other just for fun.

Today things are different way more sources to still make Top money.

Floyd wouldn't have had the option of ducking because he wouldn't have been on top in the 80's. That's no knock on his talent, but there were some beasts back then and they didn't fight cautiously like guys do now. Today's fighters suit Floyd's style better.

Floyd would have started ducking in the 80s but he wouldn't be undefeated or he wouldn't have the nerve to call himself TBE

Pernell Whitaker can stand in front of Canelo and walk him down without getting hissed? He cant even last for 5 rounds LOL.

I had to edit to give you more options. Willie Pep could change his entire fighting style and dominate Floyd's foes without getting hissed? Could Benitez do it? I dont think so bub.

I know what i am looking at in that Photo - a beat fighter. Ortiz was a beaten man before he ever got in that ring, and it's not the first time he's lost his head in a match. he did it with Maidana, with Floyd and with Colazzo. It is a shame Floyd fights such bums and people thinks he's great.

              Ortiz having mental Breakdown.

If you feel Ortiz is a beat man thats your opinion. But the FACTS, after Floyd fought Mosley Ortiz was a VERY dangerous fight because Mosley was the first legitamate ww that Floyd had face but he was old remember?

Ortiz was in his prime, southpaw, 164lbs, 24 yrs old, and a volume puncher. He was number 2 at ww when Floyd fought him. Like I said before Im not going out of my way to pretend that everyone Floyd fights is too young or too old. Im not doing the folklore thing.

I wish Pac would fight some of those old and young foes. This dude RARELY fights someone in the top 10 let alone top 3, and I HATE how yall worshipped him for it.

If we wanna say Floyd ducked Pac, its a fact. But lets keep talking facts. Lets not do the folklore thing because its SHIESTY AS HELL the way Floyd gets treated. This dude can FIGHT and been doing good his last few fights great prime opponents too.

When Pac fights Mike Alvarado everyone will worship him for it. Its sickening dude.

He wouldnt be on top? GTFO!! Before this 38 yr old version of Floyd fought Marcos, EVERYONE always said Floyd would be one of the best back then.

Who was on the level of Floyd back then? Benitez? I tell you what, who in HISTORY was on the level of Floyd? Just being the complete fighter; IQ, Skills, defense, offense, accuracy, adjusting, pocket fighter, rope a doper, inside, outside. What fighter in HISTORY was this sharp?

Not no damn SRL, SRR, Herns. They are all great in THEIR era, but they were not better than Floyd. The Floyd who fought Canelo would be too strong, and technically sound for tall skinny azz fighters like SRL.

Jenna: When people think of Mayweather, they say how impossible it is in today's boxing to make a Mayweather vs. Pacquaio fight. What do you think about the difference between then and now in terms of making these big match-ups?

Tommy Hearns: Now these guys are more willing to fight each other. They're willing to get in there, mix it up and make that money. But back then, in my time, they wasn't really too willing to get in there. Even if the money was right, they weren't willing to get in there because they didn't want to suffer the loss.
