Which one of the fabulous 4 would give Ray Robinson the most trouble?

Considering the type of guys that actually beat him (Jake Lamotta, Carmen Basilio to name a few) I think Hagler would present the biggest problems for him. Power, chin, heart. Not that any of the others couldn't beat him I just think Hagler would be a tough test.

Not to mention he fought out of the southpaw stance.

All of them would, I'm not even sure he gets past Hearns. As for the most trouble I'd say Hagler.

don't know i am not from that era, but from watching what footage is out on him, prime marv would be a real test at 160...@ 147 he'd be looking in the mirror when it comes to srl...

LaMotta and Basilio were much better at cutting the ring off than Hagler was. Hagler was actually a very mediocre pressure fighter. The Hearns fight flattered him a great deal.

I'm not saying those guys were chumps. Basilio was a hell of a pressure fighter who puts many modern "in-fighters" to shame in terms of that specific talent. The question was who would pose the biggest problems for SRR. Hearns might present some issues but SRR was 5'-11" so the height advantage wouldn't be all that big.
