What if Vladimir Klichko said after defeating a black fighter, " I'm Ukranian and I just beat a black man". Anytime a black person says anything that is racially motivated that can be seen as racist they are always misquoted, misunderstood.

Lets call it what it is. He's a ******** idiot, but I don't believe he's racist. He's just ******. He says dumb $h!t. The problem is he doesn't think before he speaks. I don't think he should be rewarded in anyway because thats what he'd get if he fought Pacquiao who would still whoop his ass but its not a punishment because Broner would be getting a nice payday.

this is more or less what i have been saying as well. i dont think its sheer ignorance though, i think he is smarter than people think (repeat: i said smarter than people think, he is still far from smart).

but it has as much to do with the fact that he doesnt care what people think, he is willing to embarrass himself and anyone around him if it means bigger figures. he just wants attention and the money it brings at any cost, he knows what he is doing though.

Imagine if a white or mexican boxer was to say: "Broner is a fried chicken and watermelon eater." The outcry would be all over CNN. Al Sharpon and Jesse Jackson would be asking for a boxing boycott.

this is 100% untrue. i will admit white people get away with less than anyone else, but after slavery, the holocaust and everything else you cant expect it to be any other way. not saying its fair to white people of today, but it couldnt really be any other way. their history is just too gruesome at this point when it comes to racism. but then again there is no reason to flirt with the line anyways unless you are a moron, regardless of where that line may be for your race.

blacks dont get away with more than asians, hispanics or any other minority though. if anything its less, how often do you hear latinos or asians say black racial slurs and get away with it compared to the other way around?

as far as broner goes he really was misquoted, i dont know if you dont follow boxing and missed it or if you know damn well where he was going and just pretend otherwise. either way here it is..



thats where he was clearly going before jim grey interrupted him, the rant in its entirety is about as far from racist as it gets. the whole point of it is that all his opponents are the same to him regardless of nationality, they can all get it just the same.

Ignorance and racism tend to go hand in hand. The more closed-minded a person is the less likely they are to question stereotypes about people who're different to them. They're less likely to realise why those attitudes are harmful too.

Broner's pretty ignorant, so you can't be surprised if he serves up a course of racially provocative ******ity every now and then. But a racist? No, I don't see it anyway. Being genuinely racist would require putting some thought in your racism. I don't think that's the kind of work Broner is willing to do.
