Also lets not exaggerate the clinches, Floyd, Bhop,Ward, Wlad, and a million other boxers deploy similar tactics some way worse than Khan does or will ever do
Its up to the ref to put a stop to such tactics

You young pups have a hard time separating other people views on a fighter you love, but just because I have a difference in views that doesn't make me a hater, because like I said, I'm not hating on Amir Khan, but Amir Khan does himself no favors by telling everybody he knows he could beat the best boxer in the sport all awhile you ducked an Alexander fight because you wanted to fight Floyd, but its obvious Khan didn't believe he could beat Alexander and that's why he passed on the fight, because everybody knows Mayweather fights in May/September. Khans promoter doesn't think he could hold up to stiff competition so Khan signs a contract to fight Callazo. Now to further prove my point, who is a better fight between Alexander and Collazo? I rest my case
Furthermore all boxers get scrutinized on the picking and choosing of their opponents. Mayweather has defeated 23 CHAMPIONS and several undefeated fighters in his career and he still gets criticized.

How is Khan demanding a rematch when he beat Maidana?
He may want to fight him again, but the winner does not chase a rematch.

Since their first fight Maidan has improved and watching last 2 fights his stamina has improved - Maidana for me stops Khan if they re-match.

So in the fights that actually is of competion, Khan utilizes those tactics, and yes youre right those other fighters do use those tactics, and i discredit them for it and it should be banned in the sport. But Khan uses it more than the others. You have Groves on your picture. Hes an awesome fighter. How comes he doesnt clinch for dear life? No instead he fights like a real champ
stop talking crap,
Khans problem has been infact that he doesn't clinch enough, when this guy gets rocked by a heavy punch instead of clinching and regaining his senses, he would brawl toe to toe like a mad man
i'm glad khan is now clinching, he shouldnt be standing in the pocket with heavy punchers taking unnecessary blows.
the more khan clinches the better, i like this new clinch khan
khan needs to play dirty just like maidana and other boxers do, for too long he's played the nice guy, more elbows, more low blows, headbutss, whatever it takes
now go cryLast edited by FrankieBruno; 05-09-2014, 03:22 PM.
