Quillin needs to learn his place in the middleweight division, and boxing in general. He is not a star. He is not a money fighter. He is not a champion. He has not proven himself. He is a tool by Golden Boy to keep a middleweight belt, probably for Alvarez.
The ginger would beat the **** out of Quillin. Absolutely wreck him.

No price for Alvarez. That's the only reason Quillin has that belt is to sacrifice him to Mexican Blake Griffin.

If Canelo manages a good win over Lara and then goes to mw, I'd pick him to beat Quillian like a big bass drum.

Hell, for that matter I'd probably pick Lara to beat Quillian @ 160.

Quillin won't fight Cubans? This guy is a fraud, and this is coming from an ex-fan. He wouldn't fight Lara because the risk greatly outweighs the reward, plus he knows his strap would be as good as gone. From what I've seen, Canelo would thrash him also. Floyd would take him to school for the middleweight title too. He's running out of pushovers to turn to.

Canelo will have trouble at middleweight unless he develops an inside game. He's too slow footed to be able to out box many guys at middle and too small to get his jab out there sufficiently. He can beat plenty of guys there but the minute he faces top competition with legit size I don't see him doing all that well. I think even Quillin could win that fight not that I'd necessarily pick him. We'll see.

That's what they're saving you for, so he can be a two weight titlist

I don't like quillin but once he touches ginger on the chin, fight is over, if the stipulation for quillin-ginger is that he needs to win against Lara the fight is not happening...
