Props to poppa Floyd for getting in the ring with him though. Like he said, in his 17th fight he was in there with Sugar Ray Leonard while in his 42nd, Jr was gearing up to sucker punch Victor Ortiz.
sr and jr are 2 totally different fighters in terms of general movement, defense and punch accuracy. I think jr beats srl but it's just an opinion because we will never find out because that's a fight that can't possible happen. believe what you want but please don't try to pass off your opinion as if it's a fact

The opinion that matters to me is From a real Atg.

SRL is leaps and bounds better than Floyd. Has earned the respect of all boxing fans from yester year and up to now. A legend of the sport knows more than all of you wannabee analysts combined.

Lol he can't even handle a 12/1 underdog in the likes of Maidana and you talk as if he can put the breaks on SRL.

        Hilarious hahahaha!

He beat the father ... but Sugar Ray Leonard says when it comes to the Mayweather family, he could've whooped the son, too.

wow. I love Floyd, but SRL would beat him. Shocked SRL is talking trash to money may.

so would you say Tyson would lose to jimmy ellis because he lost to a 19 to 1 underdog in buster Douglas?
how one fighter matches up against another will always be different depending on styles. a fight between srl and fm jr is a fantasy match up because to 2 will never face each other because of the different era's. for someone to feel srl beats the breaks of of fm jr because he beat fm sr is a leap and a big leap at that because fm jr is a much better fghter than sr.

whether or not you feel fm jr could not handle a 12 to 1 underdog, the bottom line is he won.

Yes he did win, by a close squeaker. And to the eyes of many it could go either way or a draw as well.

              That said,

SRL will toy with floyd. His speed, combos, and physical gifts are no match for Floyd.

I would expect prime Leonard to beat Mayweather and any other WW of the 2000s years. He was bigger, taller than Mayweather, just as fast, more active, and had great boxing skills combined with his size. It would not be as easy as SRL thinks but he would get the W by decision.
