Notice how no one is commenting on the fact that Matthysse said Mayweather won because Maidana didn't connect. Nobody has cursed him out at all. He admitted Maidana lost and that is his country man.

Khan didn't reject the Alexander fight because of anything to do with Alexander. It was because he was told he'd be getting a Mayweather fight. It's not like Khan-Alexander was some mandated fight, it was just a proposed option - they didn't even properly negotiate.

Are you sure about that? Amir could have fought Alexander in December, and if he beat him, still faced Mayweather in May. Instead, Porter defeated Alexander in December, and defeated Malignaggi in April. Khan waited until May just to beat Collazo. He can't fight Mayweather in September, due to Ramadan, so he likely won't face him until 2015. Didn't he consider Ramadan and its impact on his fights before now? If Mayweather doesn't rematch Maidana, Porter has a chance to fight him before Khan does! All of this, because Amir rejected the Alexander fight. Either Khan ducked Alexander, he's not very bright, or both. Take your pick.

That KD happened in the 7th round.

I have never not given Danny credit for the win, but the fight was close - Lucas started strong, Danny closed his eye and rallied with shots from his trademark left, and Matthysse kept on coming, finishing the fight strong, including knocking Danny's ****ing mouthpiece into the crowd in the 11th round. I think Danny deserved the 'W'. But I also think Lucas deserves a rematch.

Matthysse learned something from his fight with Garcia. He also saw something when Herrera gave "Swift" hell, and embarassed him during his "homecoming" fight. Garcia depends too heavily on the check left hook counter. Herrera out-worked Danny, and took away his left counter, nearly scoring the upset. Matthysse tried to do that, but got caught by that weird, raking short right on his right eye, which blew up. Garcia has to become a more complete fighter, if he wants to stay on top.

Hmm, I wonder if Mattysse looked like an unbeatable monster in his own last fight??

He sure seemed to be bothered by height and straight punches down the pipe.
