    Earlier today BoxingScene.com reported that lightweight contender Ray Beltran had declined an opportunity to face former lightweight champion Juan Diaz in a bout that would have been televised on HBO as the chief support to the Terence Crawford-Yuriorkis Gamboa main event.

    That would be a very dangerous fight for diaz, not sure he would win but it would be a great fight. Too bad beltran didnt take the oppurtunity.

        It doesn't make sense, unless Beltran is blowing up between fights. Turning down a fight on HBO? That's as bad as Superman's jump to Showtime. What's going on?
