That's a shame. This would have been a fun fight and Top Rank would have had an entertaining undercard for a change.

Yea I have no clue where the Baby Bull is at currently, but I do think Beltran would have a hell of time winning a decision in that fight. It is in Nebraska you have to expect some shenanigans taking place.Last edited by The Gambler1981; 05-08-2014, 08:58 PM.Comment

I haven't seen Diaz's latest fights, so I'm just imagining a diminished version of him vs Beltran...seems like a competitive fight..you already know who's getting the nod in that caseComment

Let me guess. Al?As for Ray Beltran, it***39;s not Top Rank he has a problem with, he has a new adviser who declined the fight for whatever reason... #boxing

[QUOTE=Túpac Amaru III;14531146]Well I won't feel bad for Beltran if he never gets a big fight again. For fighters like Beltran, when the opportunity comes you take it, you don't get to decide when you want the opportunity.

If I had advisors telling me to take that fight I would fire them. He won't be ready plain and simple especially coming off the 4-12 fight. As for your not feeling bad if he never gets a big fight? No worries..... He's the number 1 contender so he'll get his shot. Good call from the Beltran camp!Last edited by LAPete; 05-09-2014, 03:45 AM.Comment
