Originally posted by damned1974 View PostYou are off with your facts...Floyd offered him $40,000,000 JUST before he got sparked by JMM. At this time Floyd was completely re-established as the P4P #1 fighter and had still had more success in terms of ppv then Manny.
As for Pac leaving Arum,it is his choice as MANY other fighters gained more financial success once they left Bob....even JCC, Garcia, etc recently will be leaving Arum because he is not paying good enough. Manny has ran out of rehashed opponents, so whether he fights Floyd or not, he still needs to get more varied opponents-and they are all with Golden Boy atm.
As boxing fans, we should all want Pac to leave Top Rank, because this would open up more exciting fights for him.
As a boxing fan, one would be calling Floyd a ducker after about the 2nd or 3rd roadblock that he has put forth. He is now at what, 12th roadblock? ..... and you as a boxing fan don't see what's what?
Just like with the other roadblocks, why did he take so long to bring these new ones?
The next one will be that Manny can't fight with puncher's gloves and do you think that Schaeffer or anyone else is going to stand in Floyd's way if Manny leaves Arum?

after cotto these threads came up
after guerrero and canelo, mayweather was untouchable and "no one could see anyone beating him"
after maidana the threads are back, the faith for pacquiao is back
i've always had it ofcourse, until pacquiao's fight with bradley, now he looks a unwlling to let the big shots fly, just his iq though should make it interesting with mayweather

It's ******ed to see the Maidana fight and think Pacquiao will be as competitive the same way. Pac may be competitive if they fight, but like that, no where near like that.
2) Manny connects with better shots than Maidana
3) Manny doesn't gas out like Maidana
4) Like Maidana, Manny will throw combinations and Floyd will not take a chance in throwing back because he may get KOed by Manny. We have seen others do the same and most of the time, Floyd doesn't counter or his return punches have nothing on them.
5) Manny has had his fighter on the ropes and has effectively hit his opponent. Is it exactly like Maidana? No but you just need to know that Manny can and will.

How many ways do you need to be told that Marquez and Floyd do NOT fight alike?

Pac doesn't fight like Maidana, although both are offensive fighters.
Floyd doesn't fight like Marquez, although both are defensive fighters.
Okay, that's out of the way.
Now, the Mayweather-Maidana fight showed that Pac's not the only one on the decline, but Floyd as well. Floyd won against Maidana but Maidana put him through a rough war, with Floyd struggling yet winning a close battle. Pac recently won as well against Timothy Bradley and looked pretty good doing it, outclassing Bradley.
So, judging by their most recent performances, in my opinion, should Pac and Mayweather fight right now, it'll be very competitive.

You go on a rant about May vs Pac... lets forget the amateur points you are using in your defence and go right towards the end where you say in CAPS not to be BIASED for Floyd. Now lets look at the rest of the post. Everytime you say Pacman, you put it in CAPS and EVERY time u said any other fighter (Floyd, Maidanas, Marquez) you did not CAPS their name as its not their nuts you have in your mouth. Than you have the nerve to CAPS the word BIASED and are telling people NOT to be BIASED for Floyd... That my friend is why Pac die hard fans are and forever will be fkkkn losers. Because you are truly the biased ones but point the finger at everyone else who supports Mayweather. Most of you didn't even follow boxing till your hero came and most of you wont sinse Donaire's wack a$$s has been exposed by Rigo. I can't wait for Pac to retire so all of you will crawl back under your rocks and go back to pretending like sports don't exist until the next Filipino star comes along. Fuuuuukkkkk outta here bruh!
Lol are you drunk ?

So I agreed with what he said. And I've already said in this thread they don't fight exactly the same. Just like PAC and Marcos don't fight exactly the sameread your OP. You said since Pac struggled with Juan; he will struggle with Floyd because they are both counter punchers.
