Spreading like a disease - everyone thinks they're the A side now. This sport is really getting hard to keep following.

The problem is making sides to begin with.

Well said, man. Boxing is on its way to becoming paying to watch a "star" do mitts in the ring.

Quillen is acting like he has the popularity to call the shots at this stage in his career. He has an alphabet title that holds little weight. If he really wants to make the big bucks, he's going to need to fight bigger names. People want to see him challenged. That's how you build your name and start getting paid!

All I can think of when Danny Jacobs is mentioned is that mystical chess nerd who outclassed him knocked him out then vanished... Pirog

Quillin saying if the price is right is basically just laying the foundation for the duck. Obviously Danny is a dangerous guy but lets be real he won't bring much money and Quillin will end up ducking him. In Quillin's mind he is special so he is trying to avoid taking low pay high risk fights. Jacobs vs Quillin is the kind of fight that Quillin needs because a lot of people including myself think he beats Quillin.

In other words, he doesn't want to get his ass kicked for peanuts.
