LOS ANGELES --- Chris Arreola is fighting for history when he gets his rematch against Bermane Stiverne for the vacant WBC heavyweight title on Saturday at USC's Galen Center on ESPN.

Arreola is trying to become the first Mexican-American or Mexican to win a heavyweight world title in boxing history.

Be interesting to see if Arreola's physique has changed dramatically.

Arreola is delusional. He had some success against some decent competition because he was able to bully them but once he stepped up to the elite competition, he lost. I'm picking Stiverne.

That it will be my friend! Should be a very exciting "anything can happen at any moment" type of fight. I've been supporting Arreola for years now, I know he has it in him to pull it off. Will and determination will ultimately be the deciding factors for him this weekend (aside from the superior conditioning he got this time around).

My rational boxing mind does agree with you to some some extent but when I'm in fan mode I see no other outcome but that of my fighter getting the victory. WAR ARREOOOOLAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

I think Arreola foolishly underestimated the Haitian slightly in their first outing. A fully concentrated, in shape for Arreola standards should make it a more competetive fight. Arreola was also unlucky getting his nose broken in the first fight, it ruined his game.

It's the moment of truth for Chris.
I suspect that this particular story will have a victorious ending for Arreola.
