Why is Porter getting so much hype just because he blasted out Malignaggi?

Hype? Least hyped guy in boxing. Thurman is hyped buddy. Name one other fighter who did that to Malignaggi, not even Cotto.

You do realise this was a Paulie on the verge of retirement, Magic Mans been living off of vapors for the last 3 years of his career.

Agreed. I'm hoping for the Brook fight for Porter as it answers a lot of questions on both sides.

I would KTFO Malignaggi in a boxing match at a 150lb catchweight, it wouldn't even be close.

If Porter beats Thurman maybe he can get the Mayweather fight but I still think both guys are overrated.

Khan would pepper Porter for 12 rounds and leave him a bloody mess. Khan>Porter.
Why because of what happen last week many think Porters all out assault will give Floyd problems and possibly beat him

Naw, beating paulie is as big a bragging right item as dating a manchick...i give props to porter for beating alexander at his own game..porter has the aura of a bradley but with power, they find ways to win

                1. lots of good and great fighters were poor punchers, doesnt mean they cant fight. anytime someone completely dismisses someone simply because they cant punch its one of the typical signs of someone who doesnt know jack **** about boxing.

                2. no, you couldnt ktfo malignaggi at a 150lb catchweight. in fact he would knock you the **** out. he would beat you down and make you quit within a single round. you clearly never boxed, you dont even seem to follow the sport all that carefully. you think any bum of the street can KO a world champion? you think you are a top 10 world class welterweight by default just from sitting on your ass? ****ing moron..

                3. porter would knock khan spark out, terrible matchup for khan. would probably pan out similar to the malignaggi fight except khan would have more success before going down. but once he does go down he stays down a hell of a lot longer.

Porter is a winnable fight for Khan, i can see Khans jab and movement causing a lot of problems for Porter

He's also quite small, and needs to get up close to get his shots off, from a distance he is no threat to Khan

I hope the fight gets made if Brook isnt going to take it

Khan hits a lot harder than Devon and Paulie, remember that, so mauling them because u know they cant hurt u plays a factor

really? i think thats a terrible match up for him. porter will easily get inside with his foot speed and khan's defense is pretty terrible. those leaping shots always seem to land on khan. khan's good at distance if you don't move your head collazo/maidana style but porter knows how to move his head and khan would fall into range like a noob like he always does. also porter destroys clinchers like alexander/malignaggi and khan's new clinchy style wouldn't work.
