Comments Thread For: Chris Arreola: I'm The Worst Enemy To Myself

LOS ANGELES --- Chris Arreola said it's very important that he lives up to his potential, so he can set a good example for his daughter, Danae.

"My daughter, I have to give her something to look up to,"said Arreola, who looked a trim 230 pounds at Tuesday's open workout at USC's Galen Center. "How am I going to tell her to practice hard when I'm just half-assing a workout. You know what I mean? I have the talent, but talent alone doesn't get it done. I have to work my ass off like I have been for this training camp."

There are plenty of people out there who still believe in you Arreola! We all have our hurdles and things that keep us from getting to point B but at the end of the day it's all about the perseverance in trying to achieve it. Keep walking towards that door regardless of how many steps back you take.

Release those demons this Saturday!! WAR ARREOOOLAAAAAA!!!!!!

I like arreola but he's a guy who thinks hes smarter then what he is.

I remeber in his first stirvene fights at the press conference he said "im gonna fuck you up its a fights, no jabs nothing pretty im gonna fuck you up" and in the next sentence he said "im a boxer, im gonna box you, im gonna box circles around you" lol dudes a idiot.

and all this he is his own worse enemy, so you must be ******ed as fuck cause you been saying this for years yet your fat ass cant stop eating. How ****ing hard is it to go on a diet? you shame yourself, your trainer and your family.

If you want to set a good example for your daughter, why don't you stop cursing during the post fight interview? Blaring all over the auditorium, your big trap cursing right and left. What discipline does it take to do that Arreola? You say you're a man...ACT like one. Not like some street corner ****** punk trying to show off to the guys that he's a big man. Won't matter anyway, small venues for you FNO. You're not getting past Stiverne. This will be a repeat of the first fight.

I was talking to a poster in this forum, HanzGruber, and he told me that it is actually very hard to lose weight. Said he's been trying to lose 50 pounds for 3 or so years. So I guess it's one of those things that some people struggle with more than others.

There are of coure a lot of people that struggle with their weight or else there wouldn't be any fat people I mean nobody wants to be fat. However Chris is pro ATHLETE. The gym is supposed to be his workplace. It's not difficult to be in great shape if you take your job as a pro athlete seriously. Arreola been lazy as hell during his whole career and he has only himself to blame.

This guy is the spokesman for the Born Losers of America Fraternity (Boxing Branch) alongside Zab Judah, Evander Holyfield and soon to be my boy Broner if he don't smarten da fuq up. DeLaHoya is making a strong case and may be filling out his papers sooner than we know it.

Q: Why I think Arreola is a born loser?

A: Because he has stated for the umteenth time that he is his own worst enemy and how he is over it now and that he is training harder and in better shape than he was before.. again. He clearly doesn't learn and has no discipline. He will never be serious until it's too late and by than he will likely still be too fat to do anything about it. If you know you have a problem losing weight or an issue with gaining too much, stop eating dumplings and manatee for lunch.

Chris needs to stop overthinking his overeating. If he is his own worst enemy, then he is also his own best friend. No help there. Get serious about this, or get hurt. That's the deal.
