I'm sure i'll get a ban for this thread but thats cool. First off how can someone get banned from a site for expressing an opinion? Earlier today a thread was made and Boxfan1983 was banned for making a thread comparing JMM and Duran. Honestly whats wrong with comparing the two. They are both 4 division champions and both have wins over two of the best in their era. They are both ATGs and to say JMM is not is idiotic IMO. Marquez is a fantastic boxer, he has never quit a fight (floyd was dominating him and he didn't quit, Pac put him down 3X and he fought his heart out, yet Duran gets a pass with SRL), and when has JMM ever came in overweight or out of shape? Never. That right there is a testament to a true professional and its overlooked by a lot of people. Guys like May, Pac, JMM, and Bradley are always ready for a fight. Its only just because half of the people on here are afraid to say a boxer nowadays is as good as a great from the past. You have to face it in this era Money May, Pac, JMM, B-Hop and the K bros are all gonna go down as ATGs. So it makes sense to compare them to the guys who came before them. Yeah I know Duran fought above his weight class, has over a 100 W's including a victory over SRL among others blah blah blah. Save me the supposed "lesson" you guys want to give me and answer me why its absurd for the two to be compared??? Why should someone be banned for that??? Expressing an opinion shouldn't get someone banned especially when it actually sparks a type of conversation or debate.
Also I see a lot of ****** **** written on this site day after day. I see racist remarks, and ignorance all the time. Many of those people are still posting their biased a** **** all the time and aren't banned.
Another thing about this site is really it isn't the only boxing site and many of the other sites I go on have better written articles. Can they get some editors for the articles prior to them being posted for once?
Go ahead and write your smart ass remarks like half of you do instead of truly talking boxing, or answering questions being brought up. I'll wait for a real answer or a ban.
