khan's physically at a lower level without roach, but he paces himself better, and the clinching i guess saves his yet again glass chin(which with roach was very respectable)

so, what he takes away and gains from leaving one guy and joining the other leaves the scales at about the same place

but if it were roach khan i think he would have stopped his last 3 opponents early(callazo maybe in the mid rounds)

Freddie Roach didn't train Amir Khan for the Garcia fight, it was Pacs timid filipino friend. When your own trainer is spread so thin, and also a bit mixed on how offensive Khan should be, it's not the best.

The displinarian element of Virgil Hunter is perfect for Khan, and Virgil is looking out for Khan. He told him, you can make provisions, so someone like Garcia doesn't outweigh you by over 20lbs, and pretty much a middleweight come fight night.
