    What happened to collazo?

I know this fight is almost a week past and im not sure if there was another thread about it.

But the guy looked like garbage. He looked out of shape, no game plan, no strategy, he was AWFUL. In other fights he has looked good and was a good boxer but he looked like a damn zombie in that ring.

What do you guys think? Was he just happy for a payday, got lazy and just showed up to make some cash?

He's been past it for half a decade. I don't understand what else people were expecting.

          This.

I don't get it, either. The highlght of Collazo's career was giving a prime Hatton the fight of his life in his first fight at welterweight...back in 2000-and-****ing-6.

Since then he'd barely fought anybody of note aside from Berto, but then he scores a "knockout" (let's be honest - Victor could've got up but b*tched out instead) of Ortiz and suddenly he's this elite beast at 147lbs.

          GTFO.

              A bit redundant, dont'cha think?

I mean, it's basically the same thing as saying that Christopher Reeve was doing really awesome in that equestrian event before he got paralyzed.

An immense gulf in speed made Collazo look like poo.

I think he underestimated Khan. He didn't respect his power or speed, and thought he could just land a good shot to get him into trouble. Virgil Hunter taught Amir how to grab and hold though, and Collazo didn't know what to do.
