Miguel Cotto about the shake up the game!

If Miguel Cotto beats Sergio Martinez, lets face it!

Its the best win achieved by a welterweight coming up in weight for a very long time!

How much will this raise market value..?

Will he ever get a rematch with Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather...?

    Cheers...

Don't see him beating Sergio but if he does, Floyd would fight him in 2 seconds for the middleweight belt. He's the only middleweight Floyd would step in with. He's really just a blown up welter who's never even had a good win at 154.

      Serigo keys to victory:
1.Be quick on his feet & hands ---- which his injuries might prevent him from doing.
2.Stay off the ropes ----- this is only thing I see he can do
3.Put His Hands Up ---- which he don't do

      Cotto keys to victory
1.Apply pressure -- roach training him to put pressure
2.Use Jab & Timing when serigo hands are down ---- one of his quality's
      3. Get him to the ropes & hit the body ----- another one of his quality

The only question to me is can cotto hurt serigo.
I don't think so but then again cotto can drop someone with a jab just cause of the time in.

At the end a 45/55 fight with the edge on serigo since it's his weight class and fought in it for a few years now.

Cotto can pull the upset if he can fight like 26-27 year old cotto
All he needs is the stamina which lacks now a days.

I m not real sure about sergio's chin. Cotto has a pretty good chin, but he bust up very easy. Gonna be imteresting, especially if cotto can get to his body. Test the knee and movememt of sergio. Floyd, ggg, and pac should be interested observers for this fight. Floyd and ggg for both andpac against martinez. Don't think pac and cotto will fight again because of roach.

I think a rematch w/ Mayweather is much more likely than with Pac. Pac has said 147 is his cap, and 154 is Cotto's cap.

I think if he beats Martinez which in my opinion is about 55/45 in Sergio's favor - then you are dealing with a highly motivated Cotto who'll be a problem for anyone.

I'd be down for the rematch - just like I'd be down for Cotto-Maidana; Cotto-Bradley; Cotto-Canelo; Cotto-Porter (imagine that war) or even Cotto/JMM. I even think Cotto is the only man worth his salt that would entertain a GGG fight, because he's a man like that

***** - there are so many mouth watering fights that could be made if Cotto wins. YOu got a past-prime 5'6 Welterweight holding the lineal title; the whole fight game will have a hard-on trying to fight him

Cotto is shot and he's too small for JMW, let alone MW
if he beats Martinez, it's only because Martinez is shot himself
on paper, it's a big achievement for him due to the odds
it's Martinez who's doing the cherrypicking here, not Cotto
Martinez losing to Murray and his age take luster off him though

If Cotto wins it'll be the best victory any boxer has had since Marquez put PAC to sleep. I'm rooting for Cotto all the way, but Sergio has everything necessary in his arsenal to beat & even stop Cotto IMO. COTTO ALL THE WAY THOU!!!

Canelo should fight Cotto in that case.

Imagine Cotto beats Martinez for the MW title then beats Golovkin. Instant HOFer
