Comments Thread For: Arreola: If I See Stiverne Hurt, I'm Taking His Ass Out

LOS ANGELES --- Chris Arreola doesn't take anything away from Bermane Stiverne and his victory over him in April 2013.

Stiverne knocked Arreola down and broke his nose en route to a 12-round unanimous decision in their first fight. They meet in a rematch on Saturday at USC's Galen Center on ESPN.

Arreola for a guy who got decimated in their first fight is yapping a bit too much. If he did half decent it would make sense, but the dude got spanked left and right for 12 rounds. It would have been better if he got stopped because there is that "IF" the fight went on argument.

    Stiverne by stoppage this time.

Chris was also going to call 911 and hold Stiverne's hand till the paramedidics got there. Of course Chris will take him out if he can, one shot or combo, but don't sell the lion's skin before the lion is dead.

That's Joan Guzman. He's now fighting @ WW, 33-1-1 w/ 20 KOs. Funny how he hasn't gotten the high profile fights lately. Of course, he's 38 now.

I like Arreola's spirit. He makes no excuses for his defeat by Stiverne, but promises to give it his all in the rematch. Take it to him, Chris!
