It's controversial only if you watch the fight once and with a group of people cheering especially.

But not the second let alone 3 rd time you watch the fight

because when it comes to Oscar I think folks blame it on the drugs and alcohol, and pay it no mind.

The fight was not close. 8 rounds to 4. It's just maidana threw way more punches so it looked good. I don't know what kind of boxing u people be watching. Arms n shoulders don't count. He threw way more and landed less the May. Fact is mayweather made this fight close purposely. Business first. He know he can beat him but if he boxed him and beat him easily he would have no opponent with a big name draw for September. Think think understand business. He said he didn't follow his dad game plan but he will tell his dad privately why he didn't. He just said dad sometimes u have to do it for the fans. There's no big money names to fight n September at 147. Amir khan won't fight September. Ramadan he will be fasting. So what better way for a show. Maidana got a name beating broner. Now hard fight with Floyd. It's a fight people wanna see again even the people that missed it wanna see it now. Remember business. This Floyd second time n his life ever rematching somebody. He knows what he doing. Believe that.

Yeah yeah...not bitter...2 min later on twitter: Floyd is a coward, we all know he wouldn't give me the rematch after I beat him, Maidana and Castillo beat him too, my grandma beat him ass at the Cinco de Mayo lingerie BBQ I threw at my house too...he's 21-36 in reality we all know that

News flash Oscar, Maidana put up a good dirty fight and still lost 8-4 or 7-5 and you on the other hand won 3 rounds at best lay off the drugs and women's clothing and please try and maintain some respect from the great career you had prior to ur retirement.

Most people have no idea that scoring a fight is made up of 12 3-minute fights not 1 36-minute fight.

You are definitely bitter, jealous, and hates mayweather because he whopped yours and all your fighters asses. Oscar is a weak junky that is on his way to turning goldenboy over to toprank.

What you may have missed, is that Oscar kept stressing that he's a promoter, and nothing's personal. Talking **** is part of the game. He and Mayweather do business together, and rake in millions of dollars. Controversy helps stir interest. Would Oscar like to see one of his guys finally beat Mayweather? Sure, but at the end of the day, they're all making mad money together; win, lose or draw. When they stop doing business together & talk ****, then we can speculate whether it got personal.

Totally agree with you, it's quite clear the first time around - my only point is that Maidana had performed better than many had expected; I'm sure that's not debatable.
